Safebuy, Protecting the consumer

   

The SafeBuy Assurance Scheme for web-based retailers is operated by Software Research Ltd. It is endorsed by TrustUK, the industry self-regulatory body set up by Which? and the Alliance for Electronic Business, supported by the UK Government. As a TrustUK retailer Sound Light Ltd adheres to the terms of the Sale of Goods Act, the EU Distance Selling Regulations and the EU Directive on Privacy and Electronic Communications. We also conform to the Data Protection Act 1998, provide security for the processing of credit card transactions, include physical location and contact details for our stores and head office on our web site, display the total price consumers must pay for goods including delivery costs and we provide a clear explanation of our delivery procedures. We also advise consumers if ´cookies´ are required for the processing of data and never use spam techniques for marketing purposes or exploit minors.

How can I pay for my order?

We accept the following payments: Telephone Payments, Credit/Debit card, BACS, Paypal, Google Checkout.

Are my goods dispatched after I have paid?


Not immediatley, a customer service person will check your payment details and shipping address before your goods are dispatched, this is our company policy to help prevent attempted online fraudulant transactions, most orders are normally cleared the same day and therefore dispatched the same day or within 1-5 working days.


Do all prices include vat?

Yes, our website prices include vat @ 17.5% unless otherwise stated, we also have a trade login, these prices exclude vat.

Can I have my goods delivered to another address?


Yes! Full verification we will required for this service, if this is requested, your transaction details are checked by a member of staff, at this point we will contact you again, you will then be asked to verify the card holders details, once we have taken you through our verification and security checks, your goods will then be dispatched.

 
Can I pay over the Telephone?

Yes! a customer service person will take your order details then email you an invoice with a link to our payment gateway. This is also the option required for customers who may wish to request an alternative shipping method or for any timed deliveries.

Can I pay by BACS/Cheque?


Yes! Paying directly into our bank account is very easy, contact us for this optioin.Goods are dispatched when we have received your payment confirmation as cleared funds from our accounts department.
 
Can I pay by "Cash on Delivery" ?

NO! We do not dispatch any goods until payment is received in full from the verified card holders address. Sound Light ltd has no charge for delivery over £500 to UK mainland addresses, unless total order weight exceeds 30kg or requires a pallet, in this situation your order will go through but you may be contacted for additional shipping costs. Channel Islands, I-O-M, Northern & Southern Ireland and parts of the Scottish Highlands have additional charges, you will be contacted after placing your order of these charges, although we do reserve the right to change this at anytime without notice. If this was the case, you would be informed prior to the dispatch of your goods and will be offered a full refund if you so choose.

Are all your products in stock?

Our website should recognise when an item is out of stock, we are sent a reminder once it reaches our minimum stock level. If an error occurs were your order is processed when an item is out of stock, we will email you within 24 hours and your payment card will be refunded.

Back-Order Deliveries


If an item is out of stock, you may still purchase it through our website or by contacting us directly, this reserves your order from our next available stock and avoids any further disappointment. You may cancel your back order at any time, if you choose this option then we cannot gaurantee availability if all back orders exceed our next available stock. Once the item is back in stock you will be contacted to arrange delivery of your goods.
